God’s art interpreted on tangible objects with cool figures and colors it’s what I call nature. It deserve admiration, it deserves respect, it deserve getting to know it and be part of it… I meant to post this a while ago, and yes, finally I am writing in english. I takes me longer and I will probably have multiple grammar problems; but I guess you can excuse me and deal with it.
Exhausted from the long trip, curve roads and a lot of mountains, finally we arrived. Stayed there literally in shock for hours looking around, enjoying the sounds of birds, the wind blowing and the beauty of the nature was a must. This is a throw back from one of the last family trips that I did during my summer in home.
We visited la Yeguada, which is a National Natural Reserve located in the province of Veraguas in the Pacific Coast; definitely one of the best places to go camping in Panama. The protected area has lake where you can canoe, paddle board, swim, etc. A pretty cool thing, is that it has one of the oldest centroamerican pine types called Pinus Caribean. If you want nice and chill weather; this is the right place, since most of the country is super hot, and if you like adventures you need to see one of the biggest waterfall I have ever seen El Desvio.
Nothing but nature was part of this weekend. If you ever want to visit; you won’t regret. Any kind of car can go into la Yeguada. from Panama City it will take you aronud 4 hours (260 km). Once you Past Aguadulce 15km later there is the entrance to El Jaguito (to the right) 30 km later you will find Calobre and then 20 km later La Yeguada. There are signs all the way up so there is nothing to worry. If you ever want to visit Panama; just ask me and I will take you there.
If you have any questions, let me know!
Hope this post helped you!
